MREA is looking to its membership to identify their best practices and enter their accomplishments in MREA's Profiles of Excellence Competition. Each year, the association recognizes member programs that serve as an example of innovative educational opportunities for rural students.
Enclosed you will find an outline of the entry criteria. Please review this material, then share it with others in your district whom you feel have developed exemplary educational programs. Email your entry as an attachment (either Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format) to Cindy Gerber (cindyg@mnrea.org) in the MREA office by Friday, June 6, 2008. Entry information is also attached and can be found on the MREA web site - www.mnrea.org.
Entries will be judged by a panel of the Board of Directors and formally announced in September. The award winners will be recognized at MREA's Annual Conference and featured on MREA's web site.
You will get a confirmation email stating MREA received your entry. If you do not receive a confirmation email by June 9, or if you have questions, please call the MREA office at 320-762-6574.
